Recently, the Lambertville House served as the setting for several special surprises. One very crafty wife took her husband, who was having a significant birthday, to the hotel cocktail lounge for drinks. Well, that is what he thought...When the Mrs. excused herself to use the ladies room the unsuspecting husband was presented with a card from the bartender informing him his wife was waiting for him upstairs in a suite she had booked for the night. Surprise!

The very next weekend a husband brought his wife to the Left Bank for an after dinner drink on their fifth wedding anniversary. While sipping on an Espresso Martini (a house specialty), the lucky lady was handed a room key by her husband. He then told her that Grandmom had the children for the night. Surprise..surprise!!
