Lambertville House Partners with DocuTech
November, 10, 2008, Lambertville, NJ: At Lambertville House, a classic boutique hotel in Lambertville, NJ, technology forms the critical base to attract and inform corporate customers and leisure guests, determine availability and process reservations.
Lambertville House owner Edric Mason, a former electric utility CFO, has high expectations overall and appreciates the benefits of building partnerships with vendors. As a small business owner, he was interested in establishing an IT support net similar to what he experienced in the corporate world, according to Bill Rossman, DocuTech technology consultant.
DocuTech and Lambertville House came together as partners after Rossman met the hotel's sales representative, Linda Gustafson, at a Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce networking event. Shortly after she told Rossman the hotel was looking for help in managing and maintaining their IT infrastructure, Rossman met with Edric Mason.
Rossman said he explained DocuTech takes ownership of a client company's IT infrastructure and does everything that is needed to manage, maintain and support the company's business. "Right away, he said 'that's what I need'," Rossman related.
DocuTech provided a Best Practices Assessment and set Lambertville House up with IT network tracking and reporting, 24/7 access to network and desktop technicians, and a proactive scheduled maintenance plan.
Mason is pleased with the results. "Small businesses need high quality partners, and I recommend DocuTech because they work with you in the form of a partnership as opposed to a one-time sales opportunity."
"Bill Rossman understands technology, recommends improvements in our operations, and has been in touch with us constantly to make sure everything is operating fine. When we do have a question, he responds promptly with the answers we need. In addition, the DocuTech on-site service technicians have proven to be knowledgeable and extremely interested in helping us have the best network possible and in providing quality service. As a result, we don't have any computer networking problems, which is the bottom line," Edric Mason said.
DocuTech and Lambertville House recently finished a quarterly review, and Rossman said Mason confirmed all Connected Care objectives are being met. Both partners are looking forward to continuing and growing the relationship.
