What's Old is New Again
Thursday, 10 June 2010

When you think of recycling you may just think of bottles, cans, and newspapers...but that is only the beginning.

Here in Lambertville and across the bridge in New Hope, PA you will find some of the most charming shops filled with consignment items to please the most discriminating shopper.

What a treat it is to find that special something...and...when you buy vintage, gently used or antique you can feel good about protecting the planet as well as your wallet. Owning a piece of "history" just feels good!

The venues are quite varied from the funky Love Saves the Day in New Hope to the chic Green Street Consignment Shop in Lambertville. There are treasures to be found at the Golden Nugget Flea market and quite high end auctions at Rago's.

We invite you to seek out these treasures as well as all the wonderful shops tucked along the quaint streets of Lambertville and New Hope.

So close to home...yet a world away!

Spring into spring!
Tuesday, 16 March 2010

Green is a wonderful color! Since spring is just around the corner and St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow we are all ready to start seeing "more of the green"!

Some of the finest nursuries and gardening resources are located here in the Delaware Valley. This is the time to begin thinking ahead to sunshine and daffodils.

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day the Celt-Iberia Traders of New Hope have opened in a new location, the Parry Barn. The barn is located on Main Street in front of the Bucks County Playhouse. The shop boasts a gorgeous collection of all things Irish from fine art to perfumes. It is a charming atmosphere and Irish music plays while you shop...making everyone Irish for the day.

Enjoy the sister towns of Lambertville and New Hope this spring and bring a smile to your face!
